Couture Week, Spring 2011: Chanel

Karl Lagerfeld, at the helm of Chanel, sent a flurry of beautiful pink, beige and gold pieces down the runway today at Paris Couture Week. The light colors were showcased through a variety of textures - beads, tweeds, pearls, and crystals. Lagerfeld also mixed in a touch of black, most notably with the shoes, a black pointed-toe mule flat. The show was light, delicate, and fresh. We always love Chanel's structured dresses and blazers but we were so pleasantly surprised with skirts layered on top of pants!
